Bio

My Story

My passion for nature ignited during childhood strolls amidst its diverse life forms, has blossomed into a deep curiosity about the origins of life, biodiversity, and environmental sustainability. I am particularly fascinated by the influence of social-historical contexts and free-choice learning on shaping individuals' environmental identity and worldview (EIW).

Driven by a desire to unravel the intricacies of how people acquire knowledge, especially in free-choice learning settings, I am committed to enhancing public environmental literacy and stewardship, with a special focus on our ocean.

Inspired by the vision of E.O. Wilson, I aspire to not only be a naturalist but also a social ecologist, integrating scientific exploration with a profound comprehension of societal interactions. Ultimately, my career ambition is to assume a leadership role as a director in prominent marine science institutes including aquariums and museums, where I can actively contribute to fostering scientific curiosity and environmental stewardship on a global scale.
