My childhood love of strolling in nature and being amazed by its diverse life forms has evolved to a curiosity about the origin of life, biodiversity, and environmental sustainability. IIn addition, how human activities and government’s policies can shape our ecosystem and affect conservation work (e.g. species, environment, and natural resource conservation) continues to fascinate me. I want to understand how citizen scientists, policies, and law all affect our environment. Inspired by E.O. Wilson, I want to be not only an environmental scientist but also a naturalist as well.
